Our fishing boat

Rosa Santa Primera

The Rosa Santa Primera is more than a fishing boat — it is the maritime heart of our restaurants. On board, we catch fresh fish and seafood every day, supplying our kitchens directly —with no intermediaries— to ensure authentic flavour, true locality and exceptional quality.

When you sit down at Cafè Balear, Pizzeria Roma or Pins46, the fish, red prawns, langoustines or lobster you enjoy have been sourced by our own vessel. This allows us to guarantee freshness, full traceability and a genuine connection to the Mediterranean.

This commitment —bringing “from sea to plate” through our own boat— defines who we are: a group rooted in respect for the sea, the land, Menorcan tradition and honest, product-led cuisine.

Key milestones

  • July 1995 – Acquisition of our first wooden vessel.
  • October 2001 – Acquisition of the current fibreglass vessel.
  • November 28, 2001 – Official registration in the fishing fleet under the name Rosa Santa Primera.
  • December 10, 2001 – Final registration with full authorisation to operate.
  • Since then – Operating regularly from Ciutadella, fishing in the Mediterranean to supply the group’s restaurants.
  • Today – Still active and a cornerstone of our philosophy: fresh, local, sustainable seafood with a clear Menorcan identity.
